SO WHAT? And to all the idiots out there saying “I can’t believe she wore a leotard at that time of month”, costumes are planned weeks before a show, so she had to wear the leotard regardless.
How do I know? I model. I was booked for a swimwear catalogue once, 3 months before the actual shoot date, and what happened? Aunt Flo visited the day before, and I couldn’t cancel the shoot (and send home and entire team that were paying a good couple of thousand to take my photo). So I did what a good little robot in this industry does – I kept the info to myself (not their business right?), tucked the string up and shot. But mid-way through the day the photographer leans out from behind his camera (and with no tact at all) says “There’s no delicate way I can say this, BUT IS THAT A STRING I SEE?” And yup, it was. The least he could have done was whisper it to a make-up artist and get her to take me aside, but no, he yells it out in front of the entire crew.
So, what can I say about this incident? GET OVER IT! Women have periods, whatever, and in this industry you are booked out with wardrobe decided long before these events, so when this sort of this happens (and it happens often, I’ve seen girls backstage at catwalk events use sticky tape to keep the strings up, that’s how scared they are of these occurances because they are common), so everyone should just get over it, I’m sure Lady Gaga already has.

I swear people defend celebrities more than their families sometimes, who gives, if some of the comments are not defending her. That’s life. Honestly, she probably doesn’t even care. Gaga is her own force in the industry and probably doesn’t give a shit at all over a slip like this. She gives her all when she is performing and moves around so something like that is inevitable. Also: I’m pretty sure that the fact she is wearing a tampon wouldn’t affect her whole wardrobe decision; that would be ridiculous. No matter what your opinion of her, she has become really successful quickly; she knows what she is doing.

Maybe it’s a little weird to you guys out there that her tampon string is hanging out, but at least she’s wearing one. I know people that don’t wear anything at all. I’d take tampon over no tampon any day. And, quite frankly, if I had as much money as she does then I wouldn’t give a fuck about a silly little part of my tampon string hanging out while I was on stage performing in front of hundreds to a sold out show.
