B96 RECOGNIZES AND SUPPORTS THE NATIONAL FIGHT AGAINST BREAST CANCER.  WE URGE ALL OF YOU TO SUPPORT THE CAUSE TOO.  PLEASE FIND INFORMATION BELOW ON ORGANIZATIONS THAT WORK EVERY DAY TO RAISE FUNDS TO BENEFIT CANCER RESEARCH.  WITH YOUR HELP, WE JUST MAY SEE THE DAY WHEN BREAST CANCER IS A THING OF THE PAST.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is the American Cancer Society’s premier event to raise awareness and dollars to fight breast cancer. More than just the name of a walk, it describes the amazing progress we’re making together to defeat this disease. This is your opportunity to join your community to celebrate breast cancer survivors, educate women about early detection and prevention, and raise money to fund lifesaving research and to support programs to help us reach a day when no one will have to hear the words “You have breast cancer”. Please walk with us.

For more information on an event near you and to sign up for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk near you, please click here.

Avon Walk for Breast Cancer — In It to End It

Over two days you will journey 39 miles helping to forever alter the lives of thousands affected by breast cancer worldwide. Together, we will unite with one purpose and one goal – to end this deadly disease.
The money we raise will provide women and men the breast cancer screening, support and treatment they need regardless of their ability to pay, and so that leading-edge research teams across the country can be powered by the funds they need to fuel their quest for a cure – all because of you! Are you In It To End It? Take the first step today.

Chicago Walk for Hope

Walk for Hope is a national breast cancer walk series that raises millions of dollars in support of breast cancer research, treatment and education programs at City of Hope.

Walk for Hope is about action. It is a statement from our community that no one will ever fight this disease alone. Our Walkers are advocates for those who turn to City of Hope for help when they need it most. The money raised saves lives. Join the fight against breast cancer and walk with us toward a world without breast cancer.

Despite challenging and uncertain economic times, City of Hope remains committed to progress because patients and their loved ones cannot wait for new, life-saving treatments. Your support is critical in our work. For more info, click here.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure®
Susan G. Komen fought breast cancer with her heart, body and soul. Throughout her diagnosis, treatments, and endless days in the hospital, she spent her time thinking of ways to make life better for other women battling breast cancer instead of worrying about her own situation. That concern for others continued even as Susan neared the end of her fight. Moved by Susan’s compassion for others and committed to making a difference, Nancy G. Brinker promised her sister that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever.

That promise is now Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, the global leader of the breast cancer movement, having invested more than $1 billion since inception in 1982. As the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, we’re working together to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Thanks to events like the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®, and generous contributions from our partners, sponsors and fellow supporters, we have become the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.
