iTunes has announced a short list of nominations for its Best Album and Song of the Year honors, with the Black Eyed Peas‘ “Boom Boom Pow” among the nominations for top song. “Boom Boom Pow” was the first single released from The E.N.D. The song hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and held the top spot for 12 consecutive weeks.

Charges Dropped For Black Eyed Peas’ Manager In Perez Hilton Assault

Perez Hilton has dropped criminal charges against Black Eyed Peas’ manager Polo Molina, who got into a fight with Hilton over the summer in a Canadian club after the blogger allegedly made condescending comments about the Peas. Hilton agreed to drop the charges in exchange for a public apology and certain other stipulations. “I apologize for what I did on June 22 of 2009, even though you engaged in highly offensive comments,” Molina said.
