The star of “Grey’s Anatomy” experienced a wardrobe malfunction as she accepted the trophy for Female Star of the Year at the ShoWest awards in Las Vegas.

In the middle of Heigl’s acceptance speech, the strap on her poppy red dress snapped at the back. The actress’ jaw dropped with surprise as grabbed for the silky material to keep from flashing the crowd.

Noting that the “Ugly Truth” star had trouble finishing her speech, host Billy Bush performed some emergency services, holding the strap in place as she spoke.

After exiting the stage, Heigl was able to find a pin to secure her dress in place as she stepped out to the press room with her award.

The comedienne was honored by ShoWest, a performing arts convention, for her post-TV work in the rom-coms like “27 Dresses” and “Knocked Up.”
